This is original hand drawn art by automotive artist Julie Stitt. Her art has been cut into metal using our very precise plasma cutting system attached to a state of the art computer controlled machine.
It is made of American made 14 gauge (very sturdy, but not too bulky) pickled and oiled steel, which is steel that has been bathed in acid to remove the outer layer of iron oxide which gives it a nice shine and then dipped in oil to preserve it. Each piece of this metal is like a piece of wood, it has a "grain" to it with swirls and lines throughout.
This metal is excellent for painting, staining, or can be left as is where it will get a light "patina' on it over time.
